Two weeks ago i got my pocket rig, thinking of it as a leatherman for cameramen, i thought it would be a good idea to have a tool like it around. On my vacation in the caribbean i was searching for a boom or anything to hold my go-pro, i walked into different shops and most of the offered booms where to expensive, as i knew, i wouldn’t use the boom as often as a camera-rig. Suddenly i remembered, that i had the Pocket Rig with me, i was blaming myself why i didn’t came to the idea before. I was a bit unsure if the material would react bad to salty water, but i bought this tool with high-expectance so i wanted to give it a try. Fortunately the rig is still in good shape and it did a good job for the purpose i needed. I could collapse it, form it into different shapes and i had good grip holding it. Furthermore as there is no foam material on it, it is perfect for diving, as foam will loose size when going deeper into water. This would end-up in unusual grip when holding the boom.
